Our National Account Manager is responsible for developing and increasing business in our National and Chain accounts throughout our footprint for both Bearded Iris and Scofflaw. Reports to the VP of Sales and Marketing. They will work with buyers, distributors, and field sales teams to ensure consistent execution of placements, ads, and goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Cultivate relationships with retail chain buyers, distributors, and key internal/external stakeholders
- Maintain high level of interaction and communication with retail chain buyers and their respective division and district management teams
- Develop annual business plan for assigned accounts and identify resources needed to successfully execute these plans
- Identify and set distribution objectives within priority accounts and develop selling story and action plan to successfully hit goals
- Create, organize, and implement chain programming and promotions
- Track, analyze, manipulate data to inform strategic insights and action plans
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure impact by channel, program, and overall business
- Work cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful execution at retail
- Schedule, prepare for, and conduct regular meetings and presentations with prospective and current chain buyers during appropriate windows
- Ensure that your team has resources needed to deliver desired results
Job Requirements
- 3-5+ years in Sales leadership with National Account Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience calling on and working with the primary and secondary chains in the territory including but not limited to: Publix, Kroger, Harris Teeter, Whole Foods, Total Wine, SEG, etc…
- Demonstrated capacity to communicate and work effectively across functional groups/departments
- Ability to work with syndicated data to tell a compelling sales story to customers and sales teams
- Aptitude to think creatively and strategically, and translate strategy into operational tactics
- An independent mindset combined with collaborative decision making, capable of championing ideas to internal team leaders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to analyze data and track performance.
- Proven track record of creating compelling and successful sales presentations tailored to customers as well as the ability to effectively communicate programs to Sales, Marketing, and Distributor Teams

A Packaging Technician’s primary role is to package craft beverages and prepare them for shipment to customers. General responsibilities include:
- Operating packaging equipment safely and efficiently, including setup, cleaning and basic maintenance
- Loading and unloading vans with forklifts and pallet jacks
- Logging and maintaining records
- Cleaning and sanitation of equipment and facility
- Verifying quality of final packaging products
- Operating automated process systems
- Following safety, quality, and operating procedures
Reporting to the Packaging Supervisor, this person works as part of the production team at one of the four main stations of packaging. The assigned station will change to match the production schedule. Skills and abilities needed to be successful in this position include:
- Forklift operation – must be or become certified – will train the right person
- On the job training for heavy equipment operation, hazardous materials handling, and general safety practices in food and manufacturing
- Ability to perform time-sensitive, fast-paced, physically demanding activity
- Ability to stack 40 lbs. cases and lift kegs weighing up to 170 lbs
